60 Minutes - Killing Bin Laden

Great Documentary
I purchased this after watching the original interview. I agree with Mark Owen and believe this is an important part of history and it should be told be correctly. Who better to tell the story then someone who was actually there.

Interview/book
I had seen a part of this interview, but not all. I then read the book "No Easy Day: The Firsthand Account of the Mission that Killed Osama bin Laden"; and wanted to see the entire interview after reading the book. I have a greater appreciation for our military personnel knowing just a part of what they go through.

Killing Bin Laden
This is an extremely important interview and documentary. It was very well done. However, CBS did not give the presentation its just due. The original interview was presented in HD at 1.85 to 1. The interview is available on line with the same ratio. There are also several extra shorts on line that have not been added to the DVD. These were also 1.85 to 1. There is no reason to produce a DVD at the 1.33 to 1 ratio any longer. This is especially so, since the original anamorphic material is available. If cost is the reason this was done, CBS could have charged more for the disc.
Shame on CBS. Great and informative interview. The DVD was only adequate.

Je'Caryous Johnson's Love Overboard [HD]

Great Play!
This was a great play with some great actors! Je'Caryous Johnson is starting to make a name for himself in the gospel play arena!

Satisfying
Ladies if you are experiencing any turmoil in your relationship than you will want to see this play. I was in a relationship with an unappreciated man and after watching this play I gained to courage to kick him to the curb and move on. Thank you Jecaryious

this movie has the same story line as cheaper to keep her it could have been more to it cause everyone doesn't take a man back when he cheats and the writer shouldn't have use the same story line from his other play I love Je'Caryous Johnson plays but this one sucked, I though I was watching cheaper to keep her. Need a writer hit me up.

Demetri Martin. Standup Comedian.

Just ok
I loved Demetri's previous programs and own them for repeated viewing; this one I watched once and gave away - just kinda "eh". It had some great moments, but I feel like he's kinda losing his niche a little bit by getting a little ruder with his jokes. He is truly funny - he doesn't need to do that.

I am madly in love with Demetri Martin. His performances and writing are the best!
He never dissapoints - disipoints -disappoints ....me. I love his humor and this dvd is no disa- dissa- let down.
He always makes me laugh and, in my opinion, he just keeps getting better - I mean, funnier. What TALENT!!!!

Funny
I have always loved Demetri Martin, he doesn't have to resort to swearing to get a laugh. His simple and humours observation of everyday laugh gets me laughing every time. I thoroughly This DVD and would recommend it to my friends. Particularly loved the audio commentary on the audio commentary.

For Your Eyes Only (50th Anniversary Repackage) [Blu-ray]

One of my all-time favorite Bond movies in a nice package
THE MOVIE
There wasn't much further 007 could go as far as sci-fi wizardry and fantastic characters after the cartoonish MOONRAKER that had seen James Bond propelled into space.
What was called for was a `back to basics' approach that emphasized realism, exotic locations, less gadgetry, down to earth villains and a return to the ruthlessness that Roger Moore had exhibited in movies such as THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN and THE SPY WHO LOVED ME. What better way for the filmakers to return Bond to his roots than to tap into original Fleming source material.
Taking characters and situations from not only the Fleming novel FOR YOUR EYES ONLY, but also the keel-hauling sequence from LIVE AND LET DIE writers Richard Maibaum and Michael G. Wilson wove together a complex and enticing cold war spy drama that included some of the staple setpieces underwater and on the slopes that had served the character so well in the past.

One Of The Best Bond Films
After MOONRAKER's excesses, it was a wise decision to bring Bond back to earth, and back to basics with FOR YOUR EYES ONLY. FYEO features one of the best casts of any of the Bond films, including standout performances from Topol (playing one of the most likeable rogues in all of the Bond films), Julian Glover, and one of the best (and most beautiful) Bond women of all in Carole Bouquet. Lynn-Holly Johnson IS a little annoying as a spoiled young olympic hopeful, but the character is SUPPOSED to be annoying, so she actually was a bit of inspired casting. The story brings Bond back to the style of the films of the 60's, as Bond once again squares off with the Soviets in a race to recover a sensitive piece of computer equipment. Roger Moore gives his best performance as Bond in FYEO, as we finally see him show some toughness as well as his suave sophistication. Humor is present, but not so much as to distract from the film. Disappointing Special Edition DVD can't mar Moore's best
The new range of special edition DVD versions of the Bond films are being released in groups from 1999-2002, and fortunately this fine effort was in the first batch. Others have remarked on what most fans regard as the very best of the Moore Bonds, and I won't dispute them here. From it's nifty nod to the George Lazenby performance in "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" to the fine ensemble acting, to the sheer style of the non-traditional ending, FYEO succeeds because it marks one of the few times the producers took special pains to incorporate Fleming into the script. For that effort, a full five stars are well-deserved.

Where this product fails, however, is in living up to the standards this Special Edition series has set for itself. Like other entrants in this series, FYEO has audio commentaries by the filmmakers. As with all the Special Editions, the Ian Fleming Society, perhaps the most 'serious' of the Bond Fan Clubs, provides a narrator who ties...

Red River Range

BR disc will not disappoint....
I just received this and the other three new BR discs from the John Wayne Three Mesquiteers era. The Amazon.com review of the story almost takes longer to read than the movie is long. I'm just kidding but its a 56 minute film as they all are and I surmise the reason they are on separate discs and so expensive is because the market is small. On all films the picture quality is sharp and stunning at times and the sound is robust. These are fun films and its a hoot to see young Duke riding a big white horse with his oversized white hat. Some of the horse chase scenes in all the films is really stirring as the camera is just ahead of the horses and to see them charging at full speed in HD is pretty cool. These are sort of silly/stupid scripts and sadly Duke Wayne isn't the main star...he is co starring so he's not on camera as much as I'd like but I am a fan and am glad I picked them up. This will be my review for all four films as they were all made within a couple year period all...

Mandie Triple Feature

good g rate movie
There type movie that the whole family can set down and watch these 3 movie at any time there not boring like some get after time.

Added to Small Church Library
Clean, attention grabber movies for my children as well as other children who watched it at our church. My kids said that they like the mystery in these movies. I found myself drawn into these movies as I previewed them for our church library. An enjoyable factor for me was the balance of seriousness & humor.

Negative: A possible negative factor that my one child mentioned is that they used a different actress for the 3rd movie in these series. It didn't bother me, but it may make a difference for others.

Great find!
My grand daughters loved these movies. Great to find wholesome
entertainment for them while I babysit.

Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman

Great Movie for Animation Fans and Students
I grew up watching the series in the 80s, and wasn't really a huge fan- it was just one of the shows in the Saturday morning lineup. The movies were made to much higher standards than the TV show, and this one is no exception. The backgrounds are nicely detailed, camera angles are varied and effective, and the lighting is suitably dramatic when the story calls for it. The Wolfman story pretty much revolves around shy Theodore, and the situations that arise from his becoming a werewolf after being bitten. The animation is leagues beyond pretty much every children's film being released today, with surprisingly high production values for a straight to video. Cushioning, lines of action, squash and stretch, kinematics- everything missing from the typical insipid productions of today, is all here. The characters actually exist in their world, rather than looking like something dumped off of a screenshot from a bad video game. The dialogue and body language the siblings have with one...

AWESOME!
Everytime I watch this movie I like it more and more! It has both the Chipmunks and the Chipettes in it! Cool huh? It also has awesome songs in it too! Munks on a mission, The Monster is in you (I think that is what this one is called) and Everything is going to be alright. Everything is going to be alright is my personal favorite. The Chipmunks and Chipettes sing this one at a dance. I've played this song again and again. The only disapointment I had was there was only three songs. The Chipmunk Adventure had 8! But besides that this movie is AWESOME! I suggust buying it, if you love the Chipmunks and Chipettes! =)

A Fun Halloween Treat
This DVD contains two movie-length "Alvin and the Chipmunks" monster adventures. The first, "Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein". Originally released in 1999 this is a wonderful animated film that will delight adult fans who grew up with the chipmunks (there's even a roller-coaster scene that shows the Chipmunks as they appeared in the 1950's and 1960's) and will also be fast-paced and contemporary enough for twenty-first century kids. Parents need not worry about language, there is cartoon violence, and some scenes may be too scary for very young children (especially the opening sequence in black and white). On the upside there are nice lessons about friendship and not judging by the cover. I give this one five stars.

The second monster mash, entitled "Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet the Wolfman", features three lively songs, but the story doesn't move quiet as well and the appeal for an older audience isn't as strong as the first feature. Nevertheless, parents...
